Events and Postings

The Huntington Recreation Committee is pleased to announce that there will be camp this summer.  Budget cuts have made the following changes necessary:

  • There will be two weeks of camp;
  • It will be held only from Monday through Thursday (no Fridays).

Camp will begin on Monday July 13 and end Thursday July 23.

In conjunction with summer camp, there will be a field trip on Wednesday, July 8 (PRIOR to the start of camp).

The field trip will be to the performance of Beauty and The Beast at the Majestic Theater.  A bus will be provided for all camp kids with supervision from counselors.  The bus will leave from the library parking lot.

Cost for the field trip is $8.50 per person, which includes the the bus, the show, popcorn and drink.

Call MaryLou 667-8874 or Michelle 667-5709 to sign up by July 3rd.
